چکیده

Abstract Background While the epidemiologic association between hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is established, little known about pathological characteristics outcome of DLBCL arising in patients with HBV infection. Methods We retrospectively studied a cohort 420 for incidence infection, clinicopathologic features prognostic factors HBsAg-positive China, endemic area. Results In our study, 127 (30.2%) were HBsAg-positive. displayed younger median onset age (50 vs. 54 years, P = 0.002), more frequent involvement spleen (19.7% 6.1%, < 0.001), less small intestine (2.3% 11.2%, 0.003), advanced disease (stage III/IV: 56.7% 45.1%, 0.028), lower expression rate MYC (49.1% 66.7%, 0.026). The follow-up time was 61.9 months. Univariate analysis showed that there no significant difference overall survival (OS) HBsAg-negative -positive ( 0.577). subgroup, older than 60 disease, elevated lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), involvement, symptoms (fever, night sweats, weight loss), double expressers BCL2 had significantly worse outcome, treated R-CHOP (rituximab plus cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine, prednisone) better prognosis. Multivariate further confirmed rituximab use independent patients. Conclusions Our study indicates has unique clinicopathological factors. Moreover, under antiviral prophylaxis, infections comparable to HBV-negative patients, improved OS

Background: Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) is an aggressive malignancy of mature B lymphocytes. It is known as a heterogeneous disease with variable therapeutic responses and alternative therapies. Morphological and immunophenotypical evaluation of the biopsy specimens can help diagnose DLBCL. Methods: In the current study, 44 patients were chosen from Shaheed Sadoghi Hospital (2010&nda...

HISTIOCYTE-RICH B-CELL LYMPHOMA: A CASE REPORT OF A RARE VARIANT OF DIFFUSE LARGE B-CELL LYMPHOMA

The authors describe a case of histiocyte-rich B-cell lymphoma (HR-BCL), a variant of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, in a 51-year-old man. The patient presented with large axillary lymphadenopathy. Histopathologic and immunohistochemical examination of lymph node biopsy revealed diffuse effacement of the lymph node architecture by reactive histiocytes and neoplastic CD20 positive B cells. ...

Detailed Analysis of Diffuse Large B Cell Lymphoma Patients: A Single-Center, Retrospective Study

The aim of this single-center, retrospective study was to investigate the impact of rituximab, reconsider the validity of International Prognostic Index (IPI), and evaluate the prognostic role of the cell of origin (CoO) in a relatively young cohort. Three hundred twelve diffuse large B cell lymphoma patients (median age: 52) were included. Rituximab significantly improved the 3- and 5-year pro...

Introduction: Primary gastric lymphoma (PGL) is a rare tumor, whose differential diagnosis may become complicated without precise immunohistochemistry (IHC) and genetic analysis. Case Presentation: A 33-year-old woman presented with gastric cancer and had undergone gastrectomy without precise IHC and staging in another center. Inappropriate IHC after surgery showed diffuse large B-cell lymphom...
